Not His Finest Moment

My dad: Nice sweater, when'd you get that?

Me: When did I get this? I dunno, years ago when you gave it to me.

My dad: I gave that to you? No.

Me: Yeah, when you were in the states. You brought it back for me.

My dad: Hmm. Well then, I have good taste.

Me: Yeah, and apparently not the best memory.

hahahaha!

You know, I bet your Dad got the same good feeling about getting you that sweater right then as he did when he originally gave it to you.

My dad got in the habit of renting movies we'd already seen (and that he had rented himself) a few years back.....now he has them check our list of rentals every time he picks one out.

Dads are funny. And well, we both know just what a comedian my dad is ;)

Although I was a vegetarian for over 7 years, I could always count on my father to ask me every at every Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter dinner, "You eat chicken though, right?" It's comforting to know that he's not alone.
